Expectations
​As the director of this Mariachi I expect the students to make success a habitual routine. If we are to achieve success in this field we are to accomplish this with perseverance and hard work, we will also need the full support of parents and staff to to reach our goals. The goal is to have the best year the ECC  Mariachi Juvenil de Oro has ever had. As the director i am very excited to start the year welcome one and all.

Competition/Community
This year  due to Covid-19 the 8th grade group will  not participate in the TAME region competitions. However we will learn a large number repertoire to keep the spark of music on each and every student. We wish to have full support of parents and staff for such events and the complete dedication of the mariachi students. Student are required to be in the best behavior even as we come into the distance learning aspect of the current time. We will promote the highest quality education given at Valley View ISD.
